Hi,

Not really sure if this is the best place.

Basically im in the trial period still ( started watching breaking bad)

Couple of issues.

1. I have my monitor (tv) switch of after an hour, this is not normally an issue with youtube/movies but with netflix it turns off even if its playing!

2. Everytime I press pause the screen goes black and I have to refresh to resume play.

Also is it just the browser/ silverlight plugin on windows or is there a standalone app like on the 360?

Thanks,
Sean

There are apps for Android, IOS, Windows 8, Wii, PS3, Xbox and most smart TV's. I haven't had any problems with it turning itself off.

Moved this to Windows, I think this is an issue either with your GPU drivers or Windows itself failing to recognise the PC is in use - easiest way to sort it is to just turn off Monitor Power saving in Power Options in the control panel.

Had no idea there was a Windows8 app. Not looked in the store since the day it came out lol.

Yeah I was aware of the other formats, I just have my pc plugged into TV so it makes the most sense even though I also have a 360 (that never gets used..until gta)

Got the app all seems much easier from the app.

Thanks,
Sean

Windows 8 app is pretty good, but is limited in it's feature set. Does ok though although sometimes it does through a fit. It's what I use all the time :-)

Use 'more flicks' if you are thinking of using something like "unblock-us" to get some international content (canada/us/denmark etc)
