Trying to work out the best router I was going to purchase the Netgear but then see this TP-Link on offer now same price as the Netgear.
I just dont know have enough knowledge to know is one better than the other read all the reviews and still confused so thought I would post here in the hope someone with understands this stuff can say that one far outdoes the other or is there little between them.
Many thanks
Ian

Of those two, TP-Link all day, every day. But for that money, why not a TP-Link AX20 or AX50?

The reason the TP-Link appeared on my radar is cause there is a sale on Amazon so its now £99.99 down £60

I am trying to upgrade from the basic Homehub that comes with the ISP FTTC connection I really know nothing about routers and the more I read the more lost I seem to become.
The main thing I use it for is gaming but like the idea of the guest network also. Why do you prefer the TP-Link both seem well matched when I read reviews but knowing so little I cant help but think I am overlooking some major differences.

Thanks

Past experience with firmware updates and general user-friendliness. They are both WiFi5 devices and nowadays unless it was for work I wouldn’t buy anything other than WiFi6.

This is just for my home use I do work work part from home but that's with company equipment all configured with their VPN. Do you have any recommendations for less that £100 that's worth looking at.
Thanks again for your advice.

Cheers
