I've got a v1 router at my folks house using firmware 2.10.22 which has been rock solid, and I'm using a v2 router at my flat with 3.01.25 again it's been rock solid.

Using V3.01.25 on my V2 here. Totally stable - never had a problem with it.

Stable as can be DG834 V2, with the above firmware to previous SNR slightly better aswell.

great thats the one ill download then,by any chance does anyone know the answer to this problem: if i dont use my connection for about 5minutes or less its goes too, work offline.i have everything setup right,im sure its something to do with the router but the idle time is set to 0

Not really, all that you will notice more than anything is a slight increase in your SNR value's.

Don't really know as nothing has ever happen like that with me. Maybe the update may sort that problem out for you.

You could try Device Manager and uncheck the option "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" on your network card. Other than that i dunno.

i did the update but it still didn't fix my work offline problem,i did uncheck the option Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power on my network card,but i still get it. i still think its to do with the router

V3.01.25 on a V2 @ work and a V1 at the outlaws. With only one reboot since install and the work one takes some stick i'm quite impressed for a home class product.

V3.01.25

Totally stable with 8 users on it wireless & wired. Hammered every day set up with rules and full firewall blocking most ports. Amazing really

I have the v1 and am using V1.05.00 and adsl firmaware 1.00.09.00...will i notice much difference upgrading to the newer firmware?

I've just upgraded to V3.01.25 from V1.05.00 on a DG834V2. Line Attenuation has gone down and SNR has increased slightly. Not sure about stability yet but everything seems good. I've been meaning to do it for ages and this thread finally got me motivated
