I would like to Terminal service into my home machine, on a different port than the machine itself, and redirect it via the router.

i.e. come in on:

wan_ip:999999 and redirect to pc_address:3389

Is this possible with the Netgear DG834 ? - there doesn't appear to be an option. I have seen this feature on most routers I have played with.

Thanks in advance.

sure can do that. Read the manual tbh, its really quite simple.

Well on these Routers you set up a "service"
You put a service name, TCP/UDP and then a "start port" and "finish port"

The Start and Finish refer to either single ports (in which case you put the same port for both, or you can open a range of ports).

Then in the firewall rule, you enable that service.

I cannot see an option where you can come into the router on one port, and redirect it to another.

I do have the manual, but for what I call "port redirection" they may well refer to it as something else, so I cannot find it.

If you know how to do it - it would be very helpful.
