A few questions to you guys and girls!

- I'm having a few problems with the O2 Wireless Box II with the wireless connection not being great. The web interfaces say the speed varies from 24 to 48Mbps. I can be playing online games and I get several seconds of connection lost and then its okay again, but this can happen several times in one 20min game. Any idea?

- I was thinking of getting a DGN2000 to replace the O2 box. Does it work with O2?

- I would need a new card/dongle for my PC. Is the Netgear WN111 USB dongle any good? Does anyone know if it works with Vista 64bit?

Thanks!

Don't get the netgear WN111 dongle. Its an overheating piece of crap. After downloading intensively you could actually burn your hand if you wanted by pressing your finger against the USB connection part.

When the room temperature got close to 30C in the summer, the thing would keep disconnecting automatically. You'd have to cool it down first before it would work again.

i have a DGN2000, and have had no problems at all, it just worked out the box, very easy to set up, sorry i cant comment on 02 service with it as i use ukfsn for my net, but cant see any problems likely just because its 02.

Any thoughts on what might be good instead?

Is that ADSL2+ or just normal ADSL? Does it ever lose conection etc?

i am on the upto 8mb package, but the router will do ADSL2+, i have had no loss of connection at all, its been on since i got it some 5 months ago, and it has not missed a beat, i also get my full connectio rate, and regularly d/l at over 800KB/s
