A couple of days ago I lost the connection from my DGN2000 router and my laptop which was running Vista x86. I decided to put Win 7 RC1 on my laptop today but I still can't connect wirelessly to my laptop. The laptop picks up my SSID and I enter my settings details but it still wont connect. Just spent the last hour on it and it's doing my head in. All the settings in the router and on the laptop are right and I should be able to connect but I can't. Any ideas or is my netgear buggered!

Ive got this router and recently both my vista machines would not get an IP from it (DHCP).
I set all my machines to manual IP's and they now work fine. Give that a try just to see if it works.
Apparently there is an issue with vista ( maybe win7? ) and some routers where DHCP is used.

Cheers, tried that already but no go. Swapped to my old trusty 834gt and it's all fine now. Might have a dodgy router so will have to send it back.
