In the wireless settings i have the option of setting up 4 wireless networks each with its own SSID and security. But i can only change the channel and mode one the first network.

I don't understand the point of this or how to set it up properly.

After i do set one (or more) up i see the wireless network available on my laptop but the windows wireless network connection lists it as a "computer-to- computer network" and not as just a "wireless network" like my old DG834G did.

And even if i do connect and put in the security, and sometimes it reaches the point of "connected" it still doesn't pick up an IP address.

Any ideas?

Yeah I'd like to know what the point in 4 wireless connections are? Is it simply, if you can't find the first connection you can use the 2nd, can't see the first and 2nd, use the 3rd and so on?

Or can all the wireless connections "merge" into one to boost the signal for the one wireless connection... if that makes sense?

Suppose one practical use of it in a home would be if you say had a Wii that only supports older forms of encryption, you could have one SSID set up with WPA2 for general use and another set up with WEP for the Wii?

In an office you may have a different network for guest access (not sure if the DGN2000 can vLan off the different SSIDs?).
