does anyone know if the Netgear GS605 has a MAC clone ability? i have looked but cant seem to find out.

It's an unmanaged switch, so no. What are you trying to use it for?

i'm in uni halls, and they don't like you adding hardware. why i need a MAC clone for the router.... but i need it basic and cheapish. not for me i have some sitecom one that does the trick.

It isn't a router, that's why it doesn't have these features (and wouldn't be useful if they only give you a single IP).
