Hey guys 'n gals.

Just been trying this on one of my old DG834's that died when doing an upgrade, the router is in recovery mode, the firmware is in the right place, but the utility doesn't detect the router in the device list, just a blank page with back and next buttons. :(

Any ideas?

How wierd. I just logged in and I just got back from fixing someones net connection. Only to find the flash of death. Green/Orange alternating colours? Dead sorry. Same as your problem. This is past recovery mode. I have rang sky for a replacment for the customer and will arrive in the next week. I have to return to them to refit it.

Have you got another PC to try it on? Wouldn't work at all on the main PC at home, but on the laptop it was fine.

I had yellow and green flashing lights and mine recovered just fine? At least I'm pretty sure that's what I had. Idiot step brother tried flashing the FW over wireless!
