The problems started in a couple of weeks ago, no hardware or software changes were made to my actual setup, only that we got some new cordless phones around this time (surely not??).
Anyway on with the crazyness!!!
I'm having pretty bad lag issues when gaming...mostly in WoW where my latency hovers around 100-200 as I first login to the game, after 30 or so minutes it goes to something around 2000-3000 and becomes unplayable.
I've got an adsl filter in at the master BT socket (I have tried new/different filters), have replaced my network cable, upgraded my Netgear DG834GT firmware, have tried dropping my MTU - @ 1430 MTU I get a more stable connection (ie its not disconnecting all the time) but the lag issue remains.
I use zen as my ISP, I am syncing fine..
This is my 3rd Netgear router in about 2 years...is anyone thinking the same as me and it’s a knackered router....yet again?! or can suggest something to combat the problem?.
