Netgear Ultra 4 Backup Slow

I've got about 1.4TB on my Ultra 4 that's been backing up to USB since Sunday night. Is it always this slow backing up? I used to be able to do it overnight when I had my home server.

USB = 30MB/s max...

Poor product = slow speed?

Nah mate. USB 2.0 is 480Mb/s which is 60MB/s.

I am talking real world throughput, not theoretical maximum.
