At the moment I click on a link and download it with the downthemall add on for firefox. However, I have to leave my PC on when downloading several files. Are there any add ons that I can use on my Netgear Ultra 4 so that when I click a link it will give me the option of sending it to my NAS for downloading?

Depends. If the links are just http://www.website.com/file.ext then you should be able to manage this.
For sites like rapidshare or similar where there's a login required & the link can't just be copied and pasted, you're likely out of luck.
