Netgear Wireless N Router

Hi all, the WAN light on my router went orange last night.

Logged into it the IP was 0.0.0.0

Plugged the cable modem into a PC and the PC got a IP 81.X.X.X

Reset router to default settings this made no difference.

Upgraded to new Firmware this made no difference either.

Plugged modem back into PC typed ipconfig /all

Put the IP into the Router under static settings... the WAN light turned green but all PC's connected to it say local only connection.

So Modem to PC all is fine.
Modem to router then PC is borked! This is the 2nd time ive had this with a netgear anybody got any ideas?

All fixed; incase anybody else has the issue looks like i done all the more complicated things first!

too fix fault

Power off CM wait 3 min Leave it off
Power off Router wait 2 min leave it off

Power on CM wait 3 min then power on Router.

Router then picked up a Dynamic IP first time As i did reboot several times but not on that order or with pauses

Anyway Job done!
