Hi Folks, Happy New Years
I have a quick question which i hope some one with a bit of router knowledge, or maybe even common sense could help me out with
.
Here goes....
I upgraded to Virgin 50mb broadband when it was first available (which is ace btw, download speeds of 5.99/6.0 mb/s wooop) and when i upgraded up i got a free Netgear Wireless N Router. The router can support upto 300mbps.
My question is: if i keep my pc wired (ethernet cable from router to pc, instead of modem to pc) will my pcs internet connection then become limited to only 300mbps or will that 300mbps be for the wireless connections only?
I think that makes sense.
Thanks Guys
Adam.
P.s, Call me stupid if you like haha
