Hello,

I am having a HELL of a problem trying to get Windows to install the drivers for the above hardware. Its driving me crazy!

The computer is running XP Pro and its an old computer - 933MHZ CPU/128MB Ram.

It comes up Found new hardware wizard and runs through it and finds the needed driver and transfer it across to windows but at the end it doesnt say completed - it says Cannot complete installation! and says there is a hardware problem etc. It then closes and starts up the Found new hardware again and does the same thing. But ever since the first one failed, the drivers that they say is available to install are os1.inf, os2.inf, os3.inf, os4.inf. Sometimes like os32.inf, 0s34.inf. I have tried telling it where the driver is located on the CD but still no luck what so ever.

:( It really is annoying.

Any ideas?

I sympaphise with you mate, im having a nightmare with my wireless adapter albeit in vista,, are you using the drivers from a disc supplied with the card? maybe there is a newer driver on the netgear website you can try installing,, the forums on the netgear main site are worth a look, I found many different drivers for my adapter on their download page.... none worked for me though :( good luck..
