Netgear wireless router setup.

My friend has got NETGEAR® WGR614v9 Wireless-G Router can anyone tell how to set it up as i have no idea, when it comes to a mac i have no idea what i'm doing.

I should say this NETGEAR® WGR614v9 Wireless-G Router came from virgin and there support is rubbish, telling my friend to ring netgear & them telling her to call virgin for support.

Should be the same on Mac and PC, it's only a wireless network. If it's the same as my older Netgear router do the following,

1)Plug yourself into it with the network cable,
2)Type 192.168.0.1 into your browser
3)If prompted for a user and password it will be admin and password respectively
4)Under setup (on the left hand side) go into basic settings
5)I presume your internet connection will require a login so click yes and input the username and password Virgin gave you
6)Your router should now be able to distribute internetz
7)For settings up a wireless key for the wireless network go into wireless settings, and it's all pretty obvious what to do from there, name your network, assign a password, etc.

Report back if this works/doesn't work!
