Hi guys,

I simply don't know the answer to this question, maybe some of you know it...

I've bought a WNHDE111 Wireless-N access point for in my house, I have a macbook with N support so that works.... my girlfriend has a Acer with wireless b/g... can she connect to the device but only at slower speeds?
I've seen it is 5ghz instead of 2.4Ghz? Also got a HTC HD2 which I want to connect to the access point... was this a bad idea? :/ (I don't have it yet...)

Can somebody confirm it works or not...?

Regards,
Vir

This is a 5GHz only access point (and bridge). Your Macbook - is it 5GHz 'N' or 2.4GHz 'N'? Your girlfriend won't be able to connect, nor will your HD2, as it's b/g (and 2.4GHz 'N' with a registry hack) only.

S_D, thanks for your reply. Damnit, should've done more research before buying it.... :) Maybe I'll look into getting a wireless N adapter for her lappie... thanks
