Netgear WPN824 v2 Help

Hi all.

Im hoping someone out there can put me right, i brought a (NETGEAR WPN824 v2) about 4months back and upto now its been great, but im in a game clan and i recently couldnt connect to the website or forums and cannot understand why as any other website is fine, i have recently done a complete format as i needed one and then put everythink back together and installed all software for computer etc, but since now i cannot connect to my clan wesite, so today i tried it direct from the modem to my pc and i connect to the website, but with the router i cant, can some1 tell me whats wrong please.

Btw im with virgin media and the modem is SB4200

I cant understand why when i connect from modem to pc the site works, but when i try connecting through router i cant connect to the website but all other sites work, whats wrong

im not brill when it comes to computers let alone routers lol, so as for port forwarding im at a loss, i just cant understand when im connected from cable modem to pc i can get into my clans website and forums and any other sites without a problem, but when i try through the router i can get to any other webiste on my bookmark accept the clan website and forums and i cant work this out, i would have thought it would effect all websites not just 1 which is the 1 i mostly use a lot but just cant connect to it at all, some1 plz plz help me thanks.
