hi
does anyone know how to disable from startup
the netgear wireless connection software, when you just want to use windows to connect to your wireless network

start > run > services.msc > start the "wireless zero configuration" service

Then double click on wi-fi connection from the network connections panel, find the tab which has the tick box on it and tick it.

Thats how i normally do it off the top of my head.

There may also be an option in the netgear software, i forget.

is possible to just get the drivers without the rest of the software
its a netgear wg311t

I would uninstall all the netgear software (so the card becomes an "unknown device") then go into device manager and install the drivers from the CD. This way it just takes the drivers and none of the other bumf
