NetLimiter alternative? Connection bandwidth/speed limiter

I've been using Net Limiter for a few years but it hasnt been perfect, is there another better app?

What do you guys use to limit the speeds of certain apps so that your connection doesnt get throttled?

What is it, that you don't like about NetLimiter?

nothing in particular, its just that i've been experiencing some connection inconsistencies and i want to make sure its not the speed limiter app thats causing it so i'm looking for the another app that does the same job, just to make sure
