Has a letter come through with this company I've never heard of saying the area is getting 10gbps upgrade.

Its this a new isp like virgin on a separate line?
Or would you get this via your old (bt line) isp? In my case talk talk?

They are all one big club.

Damn 10gbps to a house is just crazy!

Will need the internals upgraded to handle these speeds though.

I expect it will be expensive and I'll stick to fibre 65 from talk talk.

Just wondering if some 100mbps connection will be cheap for something.

Looks like it's another network.
Probably going to be expensive in that case!

Netomnia is the company installing fibre, Youfibre is the ISP that is using the network.

Yeah just looked at this.
Looks like it won't actually be cheaper. But might be an extra arrow in the haggling bow come renewal for talk talk

My talk talk cost is really cheap. It will be hard to beat.

Symmetrical, and fibre to your home.

21.99 looks tempting for 150.
Will need to check upload as that's the main issue. It's not an issue. But it's not ideal at 20mbps I get now.

No idea what symmetrical is! :D

That's pretty good then. Probably worth the 3 pounds a month extra
It's worth it for having fibre to your house. It means the connection can scale up if required, and isn't reliant on a a copper pair from an FTTC cab to your house and the issues which can arise from that technology.

Probably good for a plus point to sell the house too.

We both work from home so 150 up and down would be nice.
(long as its unlimited, I assume it is!)

Wonder why they are doing this area.

The new network vs my current line.

Its a bit more. But only a little for a good speed boost. If its still 3 pounds a month more when it comes I will probably get it
Over the year it'll be cheaper, just guessing as I don't know how you pay for your current services.

You could try looking on the provider website for more info.
