Hi, I with Be ISP, and have been sent a router called a BeBox, I plugged in a ethernet cable from my old pc (12m of FASTCAT 5e PREMIUM PATCH #R7J604 cable) into router(BeBox), and plugged my ethernet cable from new pc (some yellow cable that came with bebox, not sure it's the same or what) into router(Bebox).
Now, I don't know whether it's the cables (I don't know much to be honest), BUT, I can have both PC's using internet and setting up a LAN game, YET I cannot SEE my old pc shared documents or access old pc through Workgroups that is listed.
I keep getting a 'contact administrator' when trying with new pc, unlike old pc that has no problems.
I set up both pc making sure to give them both the same network name etc.
One pc is running XP Home (old pc) and this new pc running XP Pro.
Any ideas?
