So I have two Ethernet ports in the back of my pc, i have always used one Ethernet port, one Ethernet cable going to my router (btw which is within a meter away)
I see this thing called teaming in my nvidia control panel.

Apparently (correct me if im wrong) it allows you to have traffic flowing through both ports into the router. (states, commenly used for file servers)

I can see my pc benefiting from this, only slightly. however i can see my router not. as this is more for my router to do. which over all is going to decrease my performance and not increase.

your thoughts?

where is this going to be used?

Teaming is great for performance but more used for redundancy (well at my work) If it's just for home use I don't see much need in it.

The router is unlikely to support link agregation anyway so best case you'll end up with a failover team and worse case it just wont connect.

What are you hoping to achieve with it?

Do you use your PC stream films to a PS3 or xbox?

Basically what Im getting at is do you need this?
