Had this machine for around a month and all has been working fine. However, the network adapter now doesn't wake up when the machine comes out of sleep mode. I'm using Windows 8 preview (so maybe it's just a glitch...) and have tried turning off the "let Windows put this device to sleep" option but it made no difference. I have to either restart Windows or run the troubleshooter and let it fix the problem, which it does. I wondered if maybe Windows had updated the driver, but checked the log and it hadn't.

Bit of a pain. Any ideas? It's an Asus F1A75-M board with Atheros network adapter.

If you find the enwtrok adaptor under the device manager there is an option to aloow it to power down to save power or to stay at full power all the time. Take a peak and if it is set to power save change it to always on. Might help?
