I have just built a new rig, with all new components & Vista 64bit.

Although my network adapter ( A linksys usb one ) is from my old xp rig and worked fine in that.

When i install the drivers then plug the adapter in it fails to see that there are drivers installed for the device.

I've tried downloading the "Vista" Drivers from the linksys site, but to no avail.

So i've decided that i'm going to get a new network adapter as this one can go elsewhere :p

Just wondering which wireless ones work with Vista 64-bit (And which you would reccomend for around £20-30), and will they all work receiving the signal from a linksys router ( i'm guessing that doesn't matter, it's only brand )

Oh, and also. Which would be better, another usb wireless adapter or a PCI one.

Cheers

Ahh. That's a wired one. I need a wireless one to receive a wireless-g signal from downstairs.

Pci still the best option?

Ahh ok, looks like i'll go for a usb one then. Now if anyone could just help regarding Vista 64-bit compatible ones to receive a signal from my linksys wireless-g router.
