Ok, here's a teaser for ya...
Got a new machine with no CD or floppy drives. Need to install Windows 2k on it from scratch to set up an image to use on 49 more identical machines. Unfortunately, when trying to install Windows 2k from a USB CD ROM there is a Windows bug which gives a STOP CODE blue screen message during set up. See this http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=122926
Before I start a load of complicated Microsoft solutions (eg slipstreaming CD drivers into the installation CD), just wondered if there is any way of sticking the CD in another machine on the network and getting the new machine to boot from the network shared CD drive. Long shot I know, but I know nothing about network booting.
Any advice much appreciated.
