Currently about to start running Cat 6 around the house from a central point to multiple sockets in each room as per normal practice.
I was wondering if there are any other non-obvious locations I should consider in the context of devices coming along in the future that have an IP interface? I'm thinking the following
1) Burglar alarm
2) Central heating controller
3) Thermostat
