network card/dongle

been using homeplugs but tbh the result is poor for speeds,

been trying speedtests using my phone for wireless and in the same location i can get a much better speed using wireless than i get over the home plugs.

soooo.

can anyone recommend a decent pci or dongle wifi dongle to paid with a virgin home hub 3.0?

my phone pulles 300meg/second over wifi sitting on top of my pc (iphone ) so i'd ideally be looking for a dongle/card to do the same compaired to the 50/60 meg a second i get over home plugs

any thoughts welcome

interesting quick test,

found a tplink n300 dongle plugged it into a usb 3 port on the back of the motherboard and it can only manage 60Mbps, iphone in the same location is pulling 290-300Mbps.

is the TP-link dongle that bad or am i missing something here?

ok definitely an adaptor issue, old Hauwei P10 tethered via usb giving 175 meg/second over wifi

glitchy performance i'm assuming over usb but if i can get that sort of speed over wifi using a decent card i'll be happy at that,

Both will give you very fast Intel WIFI AC (the later one WIFI 6 AX) + BT 5.0
