Hi,

I have asked a similar question before, but to be honest I didn't follow up on it at the time and also I still don't understand if its possible or not...

Looking at this board - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-056-AK&groupid=701&catid=5&subcat=1990

I plan to put one VGA card in one of the PCIe slots, with this in mind...how many of these network cards would I be able to get in?

Using ESXI and onboard LAN's aren't compatible currently.

Appreciate advice.

they work in the full sized pci-e slots as well, so 5. It does depend on how many slots the gpu you use takes up though, a dual slot card would cover one of the other pci-e slots which would mean 4 network cards instead.

Have you considered a network card with more than one port on the card itself?
