Hi guys,
Using my laptops internet wireless card to connect to the router.
I'll be using my laptop, as normal, and at random times all of a sudden I'll not be able to load any webpages (page cannot be displayed) - same error with all web browsers on the laptop. I'll also not be able to connect through any applications (i.e. Skype, steam etc) - however, if I already am logged into Skype, I can keep using it fine, it doesn't disconnect me - but I'll not be able to load any new web pages.
It's like it stops creating new connections/requests, and only allows existing connections to stay open.
If I disable the network card for 10 seconds, then re-enable it, this will fix it most times (sometimes a reboot is required). Nothing in particular seems to cause this to happen. And it's really annoying, coz it can happen after 1 minute of fixing it sometimes. Other times it'll work fine for 10 hours +
It's not the router, coz I've tried 4 routers - I always get the same issue.
When the laptop 'craps out' - I can still access the internet fine from other devices.
I've tried using CCleaner on the registry and temp files, but still get this same issue. I don't use any 3rd party firewall, just the default microsoft one.
Any ideas on what this could be guys? I really don't want to format the laptop if this can be avoided >.<
