Hi. I impulsively bought a 2nd hand network card (Q-Tec brand) off ebay and the card doesn't come with any drivers. Its to go in a spare PC running windows 98 SE and I'm worried without any specific drivers it might not work right. I know XP etc automatically install Network card drivers, but does win 98?

Thanks.

Windows 98 has Plug & Pray (Play) the same as Windows XP but the main difference is that XP has a larger database of builtin drivers compared to your 98 and newer :)

If its some obscure card XP probably doesn't have the driver for it either. So you will need to go to the manufacturers website to download the driver.

The problem these days is that not all card's get drivers for Windows 98 as it's basically a dead OS now.

So go to the manufacturers website and hopefully you will get the driver you need.
