network connection problem

hi all i have a VM modem that connects to belkin g plus mimo router to give me wireless access to my flat
i cant connect wirelesly through the cable router but it connects fine through the cable router.
i recently changed mobos and fresh install of vista as previoulsy it all worked fine through both the VM modem and the Belkin router what can i do to solve this issue please?

Might need a few more details than that, when you say cant connect, you cant see the connection, you can see it but it comes up with some sort of error....please expand.

In the mean time I'll offer some generic "check for driver updates" advice.
