Wasn't sure whether to post this here or in the Windows forum, as it could well be software related, but I've exhausted all the avenues I can come up with.
If I have a download running my laptop loses the Gateway within 2-10 mins and needs to have it manually reset by running the troubleshoot facility (right-click > Troubleshoot problems). If I don't reset it, it stays broken.
I have Intel chipset, so don't think it's related to the much-maligned Nvidia/Windows 7 issues. It is using the Windows default driver. I have tried a reinstall TNA. I have also temporarily disabled the bonjour service without effect.
This doesn't happen if I run wired, and the PS3 doesn't experience any issues at all, nor does our lasses XP netbook.
Any ideas?

Limiting the downloads to 400kB/s has no noticeable effect either.
