Hi, I am having a strange problem with my Realtek onboard (Asus P8Z77-V LX) network controller. I am connected to the internet but I can not access the internet or I have very slow speed. I have reinstalled every driver version I was able to find, original driver from the CD included, I reset the browsers(IE & Chrome), I rebooted and reset router (Virgin Super Hub 1 @ 120mb), I refreshed DNS and Gateway( switched from automatic to manual and vice-versa), I installed a separate network card TP-LINK TG-3468 Realtek Gigabit but got the same behavior (I disabled the on-board while using it), I paused the Kaspersky 2014 anti-virus for a while and still nothing. I scanned with anti-virus for malware & co and nothing was found. My laptop or phone, both connected wirelessly, works like a charm. I really don't know what is going on. Reinstalling my windows 7 ultimate 64bit might look as a final attempt to solve the problem. HELP !

The laptop works well wirelessly but I haven't try it through the wire, I will check this too. I have replaced the Ethernet cable too and switched between all 4 router ports available, still no improvement. I have scanned it with Kaspersky Internet Security 2014, it came out clean. I am very careful with all the wires and I did checked all of them, everything seems to be fine. I forgot to mention that my system is overclocked, not by me, but by the company who sold me the motherboard+CPU+RAM bundle. I tried to enter the bios these days but I wasn't able too (del or F2 and no reaction) so probably is from there.

I tried the laptop with the wired connection and it worked just fine. Only the desktop is having the internet problem and even if a restart it is working for max half an hour and then stops. But still showing is connected :)

Problem solved...I think :)...I uninstall the Kaspersky Internet Security 2014 and the internet start working. Strange because I paused it once without result but after uninstalling everything came back to normal. I wrote to the Kaspersky Technical Support for a solution to this problem and I will post their response when I will get one.
