Network device to connect computers to printer & game, need help.

Ok need some advice please.

I spend most my life in hotels. Internet is bad or sometimes it doesn't have it.

I am after a device that i can plug in which can then connect computers/printers together. So my friends can connect to the printer and print and play games together like CSS.

What do I need?

If you want to have the option of connecting your mini-network to the hotel's wired internet, then the slight extra cost for a router would be well worth it. Contains the same switch but adds e.g. firewall, internet sharing, optional wifi. Look for devices sold as "cable routers" e.g. Netgear WGR614

Edit: If the printer doesn't have a network port built-in then you'll need more than a network switch anyway. Either a print-server box or again some routers have a USB port that can share printers.
