network diagram software

Does anybody know of any good network diagram software? I have tried visio but it is hard work and doesn't look great. Is there anything easier and better?

Visio is the perfect tool for the job, once you have some custom templates then your laughing.

If it doesn't look great, and you are finding it hard using Visio then you are using it wrong.

Visio 2010 is superb, as was 2007.

Google about for templates, there's official stuff from Dell and HP to make it look really pretty too

I've even produced some pretty decent diagrams in 2003!

Gotta say Visio all the way. It is by far the easiest software out there to use. Alternatively you could use Autocad with a symbols pack, but if you think Visio is hard, then Autocad will be like learning String Theory or writing Tensor Equations from scratch.
