ok... long story short, i installed the BT home hub software on my pc today to test something. i uninstalled it, but now, my wireless network to my netgear router downstairs keeps constantly disconnecting.

i dunno what is causing it.. after hard resetting the router, i just noticed all my port forwarding had gone, so ive redone that, but it was for games, i dont see why it would be kicking me for using the internet and teamspeak.

anyone know why it would be kicking me???

the thing is, straight after it disconnects me it says it cant connect to any of my preffered networks, yet i can then go and connect straight away again.

really tempted to reformat the pc... dont want to, but will it stop it disconecting all the time?? im guessing its something the BT crap has done seen as its allright on my dads laptop and another pc....

ps.. the pc will recognize, but wont let me do anything with a belkin wireless adaptor..

ok.. now i got another bit of a problem... ive managed to get it staying connected, but whenever i restart the pc, it wont find the netgear adaptor, although when i pull the adaptor out, it makes the noise in windows when you disconenct something.. as soon as i plug it in, it works.
