network folder

hi,

iv set up a wireless network in my uncles house, and would now link to configure a network folder that all pcs on the network can access. there are differnt os on differnt computers, including xp home and xp media centre.

can someone walk me through or link me to somewhere that will explain how i can set this up.

If you have XP Pro on the XP machine then i'd use that one to host the share, if not then use one of the media centre ones.
Basically it's as simple as right clicking the folder and sharing it.
Depending on what level of security you want you can do more things to guard the data but that depends on requirements.

Probably the most secure way is to set up a very small linux Virtual machine on one of the PCs and configure the share on that.
