Network hub on router

i have a 4 port router...need more than 4 ports can i use a normal network hub/switch plugged into a router some thing like this thanks

Yes.

Since it is also gigabit, it means you get gigabit between devices atatched to the switch.

Exactly how most of us run it . I have a 16 port gb switch and a firewall router. Everything is connected to the switch.

so i persume everything that connects to this hub will get the same ip on as the router port is ? thanks

The router will automatically assign every device a different IP on the network as specified in the DHCP settings. They will all have the same external IP from the internet of course.

ahhh yeah i understand now.....i think lol....yeah knew about the internet ip being the same listen thanks for your help on this ....
