Network Image Deployment Software?

iv been using powerquest server software for years to deploy cd images over the network to pxe boot machines to install operating systems on them. was wondering is there anything better available these days for installing various operating systems over the network?

WDS can do a lot more now, using Windows PE you can deploy just about anything.

isnt WDS just a renamed version of the old RIS? or is it something entirely new? do i need a specific operating system to be used to deploy cd images? or will vista do the job?

we use landesk to deploy software and an oc

landesk, will look into this. iv had people bring me machines with no cd drives or floppies so lan booting will be beneficial to install an OS
