Hi,

Whilst having a fiddle around on my dad's vista laptop i noticed you can click the "view full network map" link (or similar wording) in the sharing and connection center - it gives you quite a nice visual view of whats connected on your network, with images for PCs/consoles etc.

As i have xp, I don't have the option of this. Is there any software i can install on xp to do this?

doesnt work very well for me, all it shows is my pc is connected to a gateway (my router) and then to the internet, the other computers on the network arnt on the map, and it says at the bottom that they can not be added to the map (possibly due to them not having vista? i dont know).
 
I get the same as Dist, nothing else appears. It's really not that great, I've not heard of anything that would do it under xp.
