Network monitoring software - need to monitor users!

Hi guys,

Whilst working in education I was an avid user of ab tutor control: (http://www.abtutor.com/) for monitoring my students and ensuring they weren't up to no good etc. I'm working in a slightly different environment now but the problem/s remains the same, I've sent ab an email requesting a quote but in the meantime is there anything else I should consider looking at? What are my options

If there's any free stuff out there that's worth looking at that would be amazing!

Do you want to monitor them all at once or single (as and when needed to).

Hmm, with reference to ab, that lets you view users individually but also as a group or class etc. That's what I'm after

Ah ok. Only free ones I know only let you view them individually.

That would be cool for the short-term, it would show my employers how worthwhile the proper software could be?

...Impero? Don't know if there is a 'taster' version though.

Stuff like UltraVNC can be used and its free. You install the Server version on their PC and you use the viewer. Can also hide the server icon etc, so they dont know its there.
