Network not found

Hi,

Im using a really old wireless router its a speedtouch and does not even have an antenna but it is wireless.

Sometimes my laptop finds my network, most of the time it doesnt.

It picks up my neighbours clearly tho..

Would you know why this is?

what model is the speedtouch router? also i'd have thought it'd need the antenna to be able to produce a decent signal?

Some of the modern MIMO ruters don't have external antenna's so possibly not, have you set up your chan ID so it doesn't clash with the neighbour/made sure you've not got the connect to any available wifi network (or whatever it's called) option enabled ?

in any case, when i go to view networks 8/10 times my network is not there hmmmmm

so lost
