Recently my net conection has been cutting out and around the same time ive noticed that on my 3 network icons ( 2x local area conection+ 1394 conection) a small padlock has appeared in the top corner of the icons, ive never seen this before and although sometimes the net still works when the padlock is there i cant help but feel this has something to do with my net connection cutting out. its always been fine before. Can somebody please tell me what this padlock icon means and how i can get rid of it!! Thanks guys!

The padlock only means the windows firewall is on, don't think that'd cause any connection problems. Do you have any other firewall? could be a conflict
