Network path to Synology NAS not saving login & password??

I've got my home network set up and can access my NAS from both my laptop and PC but for some reason the PC network path isn't saving it's login and password like the laptop does!?!?

As far as I can see the only difference is that the laptop connects wirelessly and the desktop is in the top room connected through 200mb homeplugs! (which if anything, I would have thought was more reliable!?!)

It will connect if I double click on it and put in the username and password but it's annoying that it wont save the credentials, even if I tick the box to do so!

I've tried re-mapping but it makes no difference!

Anyone got any ideas??

Look at the Credential Manager inside the Windows Control Panel. Try clearing any existing credentials for the same device/login. It may then re-save them properly on the next attempt.

Same user account on both pcs?
I use the same credentials for windows and my nas. Windows authenticates you on the nas that way
