Hello again :p

You will probably be getting a load more of these posts from me as I've just joined the lovely world of OSX :D

Just a slight issue though, on a windows machine when accessing the network you can browse the root of a networked machine by doing:

\\machinename\c$

I can access the machines fine from the Mac but only the folders that are shared.

Is there anyway I can see the root of the windows hard drive via some script or something? Or am I missing something completely obvious that's staring me right in the face? :p

Forgot to mention I don't really want to share out the whole C:\ drive...

Sharing it at home and I know I can restrict access and all but also use the 360 for sharing..

Just wondered if there was another way around this if possible :)

Turn off simple file sharing and password it?

Though, I never knew you could browse the root of a shared drive in Windows even if that particular folder wasn't shared. :o
