Hi guys,

firstly sorry for the long post

basicly i need some help with a wired network and Hp all in one printer, there are two computer both running XP and are relativly new basicly they are networked and i have installed the HP drivers on the first machine which the printer is connected to, this machine prints fine but the second machine that is networked to the first wont print anything, it doesnt even see the network printer although the network is fully setup and working, i have tried running the windows netwoking wizard to resolve this issue but it has not worked, can anyone shed some light on this problem, if u need more info on a specific thing please ask

have you added the printer to the print spooler?

goto printers click add printer then select add network printer. done

This was going to be my first comment too, make sure the printer is shared with a share name and you should be able to click start - run and type \\pcname which the printer is connected to then double click printer icon and off you go
 
can you access other shared resources (such as folders) on that computer?

any firewalls?
