Hi all,

Our printer server died Friday afternoon and I was tasked with rebuilding it and reinstalling all of the network printers. (about 25 or so)

I've installed them all ok and for the most part they all work, except for a hand full of users.

When I try a map a network printer using the add new printer wizard I get the following error;

"A policy is in effect on your computer which prevents you from connecting to this print queue. Please contact your system administrator"

I've had a google and found this from Microsoft; http://support.microsoft.com/kb/319939

which explains about the point and print policy. I've followed it to the letter but I'm still unable to connect to this printer.

I'm able to map to said printer from my machine and print ok (but I am in the administrators group so...)

Strange thing is, 7 people on the same team managed to map to it ok. (these are generally new people who had there machines built for them by me when they started)

can anyone throw any suggestions my way??

Cheers in advance guys!
