Network Printers - Connecting issues

I have a problem at work where customers are having issues connecting to network printers.

In the security options you have three options

Print
Manage Printers
Manage Documents

If the customers wanted to map the printer themselves, would they need the option of manage printers?

Currently the server guys have set them up with print option only. Admins have the lot.

i dont think so, the users should be able to use the add printer wizard to connect to them

could be wrong though lol

Can the users see any network printers if they use the wizard to add a network printer?

Yeah they can see them but when they go to install it says that they do not have permission to downlload the drivers, or server does not have the drivers on it, do you want to install the drivers locally.

This is not managed by me, its from the far east but its driving me crazy having to manually install these printers.

I need to find a fix so I can tell them what to do.
