Network Priority?

Evening all,

Now this is something I know nothing about so please excuse if I'm talking rubbish...

Over Christmas the house has become 2 Amazon Fire sticks better off, but since then the internet on my PC has gotten a lot worse, to the point where Skype drops out and online games lag like a *****

Can I do some trickery that will prioritise the PC over the TV?

Or do you have any other suggestions?

Hi Bremen,
ISP is Sky
Type- Unlimited (not fibre though)
Speed- last night 13ms ping 3Mb up 0.9Mb down
Tonight 33ms ping 12Mb up 1.2Mb down
Current router is just the std one they supplied.

I would have no idea what I am doing though ie I would have to learn about QoS and how it works first... I have had a read and I do agree it would perhaps help out here though...

Do I have any other options? Nothing I can do from the computer end?

Looks like I'm gonna have to pull my finger out, get my house finished and move back out of my parents house

Would a wired connection be any better? From my PC straight into the router?
